My artwork is derived from an original technique of layering and collage – I paint paper with acrylic paints and use pieces of these beautifully painted and printed papers to create new, usually

3-D images. I have a desire and passion to create works with this innovative, refreshing method which usually has many layers and forms that give each piece a whimsical feeling. Artist Frank Stella said, “Painting does not want to be confined-it needs room to move and breathe.” Inspired by Stella’s paintings, my three-dimensional works contain a space and fullness that bring them to life.
